Accomodation in nature

Beitragvon PJ-Mirjana » So Nov 26, 2006 20:04

Hello,

we will be at the end of the year/beginning next year in Mauritius. we would like to stay in the nature - natural park - riverside - etc.
We are looking for simple self-catering bungalows. Or, if possible camping spots (wild camping has the preference).

any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!!!

We could have been the first! But then we weighed a bit our equipment plus realizing that sunset is around 6 pm so we decided not to do it.

But it could be an idea to start a camping in the nature with already installed bungalow tents!

I would suggest the south side of the island, I stayed at Riambel for about 3 months, beautifull nature! More then once I got up early to walk 5km before asking a ride to work from some of the very friendly people who live there!
As for accommodation, you should contact the following person:

Nolan De Chalain
Nolan@divemauritius.com
Cell: +230 258-1361

If you do, give him the best regards from Ken (from Belgium). Ask him for the studio's he has at his place.

EDIT: woops, I just had a look at the dates, looks I'm a bit late. Well, hope you're having/had a nice time ;)
