visit in June

Postby Kasia » Wed Oct 31, 2007 19:07

Hi probably I’m going to spend my honeymoon on Mauritius. However it is going to be in the following June ( 2008 year) and I’m a litter bit afraid of the whether especially of the rains, clouds and monsoons. Do you think that it is a good idea to visit this lovely island in the beginning of winter (it will be probably in the second part of June) ?

Mauritius in June

Postby MmeTortue » Fri Nov 02, 2007 12:27

Hello Kasia,

As Stefan already stated: there are no cyclones in Mauritius in June. Since I live here June has always been okay, comes July it can get a bid colder and rainy. So my recommendation would be try to come in early June.

There's never a guarantee of course...

Best wishes

Of course, you can never be sure, it is only a nature. I met snow in Tunisia, sirocco winds on canary islands and 40 degrees (Celsius) heat in Alpine mountains, the weather always makes surprises :-) Thanks also for the recommendation. Unfortunately our wedding day is 7th of June, so we will come after this date, and also our departure depends on the timetable of the tourist agency. I hope that it won’t rain all days, still I would love to get some suntan.
with the best wishes,
Kasia
