UK Tourist - How Long Can Stay Without Visa?

Hi, just a quickie. Does anyone know how long a UK citizen can stay in the country without a Visa? I think it is 3 months but I just want this confirmed before organising my trip. Thankyou, Gavin

On arrival you should be given a visa for two or three months-provided you have all the relevant details-return ticket, letter from sponsor here or confirmation of a hotel booking etc..Before the visa expires you may extend it by applying in person complete with relevant documentation to the Passport and Immigration Dept Sterling House Port Louis. When extending you must also provide a passport sized photograph in addition to the documentation listed on the website

Thankyou so much - that is exactly what I needed to know. Brilliant ! I can book my flight now! I will book the return for 2 and a half months after my arrival as I should be allowed to stay for that length of time no problem.
