The Best Hairdressing Salons of Mauritius ?

Postby Annamak » Wed Feb 11, 2009 12:45

Hi everyone!

I live in Mauritius now and I was wondering if you could recommend any beauty salon. I would like to get a nice haircut and I am a little scared of trying my luck at a random salon.

I live in Flic en Flac however I wouldn't mind trevelling to Port Louis or Quatre Bornes if necessary :wink)

Any information would be very useful. :ob

There is an excellent hairdresser in Grande Bay/Pointe aux Cannoniers. He has moved to Mauritius from Paris and although I haven't been to him, my cousin has and he gave her a fabulous haircut.

If you're interested, I'll get the name for you.

Hi there,

if you ever come to Mahebourg I know a very good one. Been there sor the last 3 years. Also if you need a beautician for waxing etc I can get you the contacts. Both have european experience and service level. And not as expensive as Grand Baie par example. I pay my esteticienne half of what I payed in the Grand Baie area....
Take care/Barbara

this weekend I was in the one in the Jumbo Phoenix Shopping Center. They are pretty quick. But I have to say I am normally satisfied when I am having my hairs short again.

Another one + beautician and massage (full service) shop is in Curepipe. Don't know the road name, when you stand in front of the Royal College main entrance facing the building, on the right is a little road about 150m on the left is the shop. My wife likes to go there.

Hello!

I used to live in Flic en Flac and go till now to Hair Club in Rose HIll. Rue Celicourt Antelme. Tel. 464-3235. You'd bette phone there in advance as Steve is very busy. You definetely need an appointment.
