You get this blue ID, which seems to be not much worth, just when the police might stop you as far as I understand. More important is this white paper you should show when coming back in the country (the paper where they say you are allowed to stay here)
But don't ask me about all the paper work, I have already successfully displaced this out of my brain and didn't take any backup or archive of this

if this ID card holds a ID No. it will be worth to me, as I've been asked on several paper to fill in my ID No. It will save me to explain each time why I am giving my Passport No.
About "this white paper", I have no idea what are you talking about.
In general, I've experienced that Passport and Immigration Office could obtain residence permit promptly, because I am working for institution we've asked for it to our overseas. But, in my case (and my dependents) things are not going in right direction. P&I Office wants to convince me I should wait, wait, wait.... which is very not professional.
