Recomendation for GP, Eyes & Ears Doctor/s

Postby Devora » Thu Jun 11, 2009 17:23

Hello again!

The school of my kid sent him to go for a medical cheack of eyes and ears, so that to ascertain wheather a hearing or sighn defect may be cause a problem at school. As I am here since February and still have not accustom to medical services, may I ask you kindly for any recomendations - GP, Doctor/s name or Medical Center/Clinic ? Thanks in advance!

Ear - Nose - Throat Specialist

Postby MmeTortue » Fri Jun 12, 2009 8:59

Hello Devora,

Eye-wise I cannot be of help but I know a fantastic ENT specialist (and unfortunately I'm very well experienced with ERT doctors... but that's another story). His details are

Dr. S. Naga
Clinic Candos
Candos, Quatre Bornes
(jut opposite Victoria Hospital)
Phone 425 7711 or 427 0721

Another important fact: he worked for many years in the UK and his English is perfect.

Best,

Mme. Tortue

I really cannot recommend Clinic du Nord a GB. For Eyes: Dr Isabell, PL and I think also Clinic Darne. Very Good GP at Grand Baie: Dr. Labat, businesspark.

Good luck Stefanie

You mean spectacles, right?

In terms of clinics e.t.c there is the new Apollo Bromwell Hospital at Ebene Reduit, but I assume that they will charge you a fortune?

I haven't been there yet myself but plan to get laser treatment for my acne scarring and also ask them if they do laser eye surgery.

If you google the hospital name you will find their website with more info.

Kind Regards

ud

Yes, ud, you are right -- it is spectacles. :-)
I've been at the Appollo Bramwell Hospital twice for ex-ray and blood test and consultation with a specialist. It is the hospital I would prefer, because their services fits perfectly to my requirements for customer care and available feedback. Their prices are not so high, but they use to practice many "follow up" visits and it could increase total payment.
