Questions from 1st time visitors

Hi All.
Myself and my partner are getting married in July at the Maritim Hotel. As first time visitors to Mauritius, we would appreciate any advice on the following questions:-

1) Are travellers cheques easy to exchange? $/£
2) How bad are the mosquitos in July?
3) Do you know if the hotel will have facilities to download digital photos from our camera to a disc?
4) Does anyone know of a direct email address for the Maritim Hotel?

let me make the beginning:

1 - any traveller cheques are accepted in banks, private money changers and hotel reception

2 - as it's winter time over here nots a big problem

3 - no idea, but they have a business center. Guess should be possible there

1) Are travellers cheques easy to exchange? $/£ = YUP.. you need to go to banks in your location..much safer and faster
2) How bad are the mosquitos in July? Yup since its the time of the year where always raining..
3) Do you know if the hotel will have facilities to download digital photos from our camera to a disc? I think no, but you can check on the nearest mall.
4) Does anyone know of a direct email address for the Maritim Hotel? Call them much faster =
