Professional Photographer

Hello

Does anybody know of any good professional photographers in Mauritius.

I am looking for somebody to take pictures at my wedding.

I understand the hotel can provide a photographer but I want to make sure the pictures are of a very high quality.


Any help appreciated.

Hi,

usually all hotel photographers are professionals, specially in the bigger resorts.

Also: these "own" photographers usually have exclusivity in their hotel, so that its not easy for an outsider to get in.

Hello!

I'm also looking for some photographers from Mauritius hor shooting my wedding. But i heard that this photographers from hotels are much more expensive then those in towns. Is this true?

Do you have any e-mails form any photographers? This will help me a lot.

I havent found any photogrpahers to contact directly but I got told from somebody who stayed at Le Victoria that is cost $240 (Australian) and that got them about 60 photos. The photographer enlarged about half of them & put them in a nice album. You got to keep the negatives aswell.

Rochelle i found out some telephone numbers of 6 photographers on Mauritius, but I don't know where they are stationed 8 (in hotels?). In near future I think that i will contact them. if you are interesting in those phone numbers just say.
I heard that those photographers in hotels doesn't have proffesional equipment and that they do not give you any negatives ... If you want digital photos they only give you photos in jpeg format instead of format raw. I'm very affraid of this because i want to have permanent memory on my wedding.

We are going there in april to east coast. And first thing to do, will be looking for photogaphers on this Island.

I'm also in search for wedding photographers in Mauritius. It's so hard to find good wedding photographers these days. When I got married I got a photographer from one of the Mauritian newspapers. (Le Maurcien). He done a very good job. Maybe you can go that avenue.

does anyone know about someone who can film the wedding (professionally of course)?
i'm getting married at le victoria in a week and i wonder whether i should ask the wedding coordinator there or rather find out myself.

as for the photographer, ours is part of the "package". i'm sure we're getting the negatives (don't know about an album though) and 50 photos.
i hope he's good, there'll be only one wedding day...
