I have not lost my Dublin accent at all, in fact I was told it was getting deeper!!
I have been to Dublin this year to see my relatives, and I am going again in November (also to see my children in the UK)

I miss life in Dublin, it is very different from the UK, more laid back and realistic.
I really miss the the stout, here it is very bitter!!

Life in Mauritius is great, but I do miss the big shops in Poole & Bournemouth and Dublin.

Best Wishes

You have been to Ireland more often than me this year!!
The Guinness there is wonderful indeed, cannot get it here!

I have a few relatives from Mauritius who are studying there, and on that note, students have to be careful about colleges they select.

I miss Ireland myself, go there every year to see my sister and other relatives.

I enjoy living in Mauritius, but I miss the Irish Pub life and socialisation.

Best Wishes

Yes,

.... for me too culture and country are very ok, of course mostly i love weather here, i felt maybe too many times cold in Finland

And here this wintertime is like Finnish midsummer...so, good to me...

But like U said, i´m missing too one Irishtype PUB, ( got in every city in Finland)
where beer is tasty , music well, and can relax with few pint of Guinness....
And maybe listen some Irish accent...

U have to tell to Your friends in Ireland that here is more and more
thirsty Europians, who want to carry Rupees to Irish pub,....
Maybe someone is intrested in to come to open one....
:wink)

With wishes, Leroy
