Moving to Mauritius

Hi guys, I am planing to move to Mauritius, working as senior web designer here in Toronto. First I need to speak with my wife about :) but I am sure she will say: "Yes, let's move" cause we're sick and tired of cold and snowy weather in April. So my question is, when we moved there and find apartement for rent, is it legal for us to stay there on tourist visa? Cause my plan is to work from Mauritius for US/Canadian companies as freelancer.

Please take a look at the regulations.....

They are the pdf versions of the act and contain the relevent info on Emmigration, Citizenship and PR. They are only a couple of pages each and should be easier to read through and understand!

I just hope you won't be sick and tired of too much sunshine in Mauritus!



Did you know that more and more people are leaving Mauritius to emmigrate to the Canada......I wonder how they are coping with that cold weather!
