Oh me god...

just reading the Wikipedia entry got me an additional kilo on my hips... not to mention that I'm hungry now!!!

Thank you very much for this information. Somehow the Parmo never seems to have made it outside the region. I lived in Reading for several months in 1994, working in Reading and London but I never spotted a 'Parmo'. (maybe I should say luckily as I would have fallen for it - 100%) :wink)

Thanks for the link Gerard.

Are you going there this year or you've already been?

I haven't made up my mind yet....stuck with work and the need to purchase a 2nd hand car rather quickly atm.

Last time I was there, it felt a little bit awkward as all my mates have moved on in life and I'm the only one still single....kinda sucks!

MmeTortue how's life in MU? What are you up to?

Life in Mauritius

Beitragvon MmeTortue » Mi Aug 19, 2009 11:40

Hello Ud,

Life in Mauritius is very interesting at the moment (to give it a positive twing...) with the arrival of swine flu, the forthcoming election next year (yes, it already starts to influence daily life), the sell-out of land by the current government and, and, and...

However living in the region where 'it always rains' as some people here in the German part of the forum put it, I guess it's much easier to bear than in the North or West of the island.

Hope to meet you in person one day!

Especially with the ugly side effect that you can't by any booze the day before and on the election...but now I know and get my beer earlier. :)
