Guys I am finally in Mauritius for almost 15 days and I would like to meet all you in this forum. If you guys can fix up a date on a weekend for a drink we can all meet either in Le sufferen Port Louis or any other place. Since I dont know any one here it would be an opportunity for me to make friends.

with regard to a meeting there's something happening in the German language forum as well, and I guess it will take place in early November. Coordinator of the date is 'wickus', I'm sure he will also post here.

Hello there,

I'll be back in MU in December time for some holidays. I'm planning to buy some shirts off from Stefan's shop for Summer 2010.

I would also be interested to meet with some people from the forum.

I don't speak German though but I can use body language!

Wild boar (cochon marron) is so rare in Mauritius that even Obelix would struggle to find one!

I've heard about some wild farming but I'm not sure. I think I've seen wild boars at Casela or Le Val Nature Park but I can't remember.

yes as already said there is something in planning, date is not set up yet. The topic below is in german but no problem to go in english I am sure.
In my signature is a link to an open excel file on my google docs where everybody who wants to come can enter his forum name the place of staying and what you would like to donate for eating.

This should not be a single event, I am sure we can make some more of this. It all started with a german reunification party where none of the germans on here didn't know of.
So we wanted to make an own one. Since it shouldn't be really just german, everybody is welcome.
At the moment we are in collecting the names of the people who would like to come. So just enter yourself in the excel sheet. Also I am working on a little webpage to have some information directly on hand there.
Let me know if there are some questions.

btw, i was about 12 meters from 2 wild boar, when i was there last time, but that much jungle, that i didn't even see them.

Actually I was thinking like maybe Caudan Waterfront or maybe a night at Domaine Anna? I dunno ;)
