hi everyone..thanx for the help last time we posted a message..

we have booked for the tarisa resort from 1 feb...any info on this resort?
is it on the beach?
near any surf places?

being a sunday, are there places to exchange money open that day?
as we arrive early in the morning we will have to get money..we assume the hotel will change enough for us to start, but sre there places to change money that have better rates?

also..we assume the hotel has rent car facilities but usually the prices are a lot higher than out in the street...any info on where to rent a car would be appreciated also.

Hi Bruce and Barb,

Money changers at the airport are open for all arrivals (anytime), even later in Grand Baie lots of business is open until noon.
Usually reception changes 24/7, but the exchynge rate is not so favourable.

Hotel is situated opposit to beach (50 m), beach is one of the most beauiful ones (Mont Choisy<). As the hotel is new, I dont't have any information about service, etc.

Car rental: please note that car rental in hotels is usually more expensive, but as an advatage you get the car delivered and picked up.

Best regards

Hi Bruce and Barb

to change money on sunday morning, there is the MBC Bank in walking distance

leave the hotel and go to the left, after arround 300 m you will find the bank and there is also a sign for Stefanie Supermarket.

but like Joana told you, easy to change at the airport

On my website , under villages and beaches is a map of this region there.

greetings anne
