There are great places to visit in Mauritius which can be very tiring to reach on scooters. For example, walk with Lion is located in Casela. This is about 50 Km (one way). That can be very tiring. I think that the best way to go around Mauritius is to hire a car. This allow you the freedom to go anywhere you want. Cheap car rental are available in Mauritius.
