Flights to Mauritius from UK Nov 2010

Can anyone suggest a reputable UK travel agent specialising in flights to MRU who won`t try and rip me off for prices from London to Mauritius this coming Nov? I and my family go every 3rd year to visit relatives in Vacoas and normally pay around £700 per adult. I`m getting quotes of £850 to £900 so far. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Mat,

flights got a bit more expensive recently. In that case I would check the different agencies from time to time. If you check "http://www.expedia.de/pub/agent.dll" you find a return flight from London Gatwick to Mauritius for 756 GBP with Emirates.

If you are flexible due to the dates you could wait some more time trying to get something cheeper if you are lucky. We sometimes booked just ten to twelve days before leaving Germany and got like special offers with Air Mauritius.

It might be worth to check out http://www.opodo.co.uk for fare deals.....I have booked my tickets through them for the past three years and last year i paid £ 540 to fly by air France from Newcastle via Paris.....this year i have already booked my ticket to travel in october and it has cost me £ 570 .......Air France do a codeshare with Air mauritius and the flight from Paris is actually by an air Mauritius plane. I do not know how much it is to fly air France from Heathrow, but i am sure that opodo.co.uk will have a good competitive deal! They are a reputable firm and i have found them very helpful.
