employment agencies

Postby Luc Schaillee » Fri Jul 16, 2010 18:24

Hi, I am looking for employment agencies that deal with hiring of personel for the mining industry within Africa, with a view to plumbing, construction or marketing and sales, for either Africa and Mauritius.
Many thanks

I only know of a local website which lists jobs in Mauritius only and it is:

I think there are only a few such companies outsourcing HR to Madagascar simply because some local big companies have branches there. You could still try like Price Waterhouse Coopers e.t.c

I haven't really seen any mining related jobs posted to be honest. The only jobs outsourced to Madagascar and maybe some parts of Africa relate to the Sugar Factories built there when part of the industry in Mauritius collapsed when we lost our European Union Single Source Sugar Export preferential rate agreement.

Good Luck

Kind Regards

Mauritius is an independent island republic with a democratic government. It lies in the Indian Ocean to the east of Madagascar and forms part of the Indian Ocean Islands group associated with Africa. The capital city is Port Louis. The other major town is Cure pipe. The official languages are English and French but the lingual francs is Mauritian Creole; Hindi is also spoken by 22% of the people. Dwarfed by other countries in terms of total area, mineral deposits and oil reserves, Mauritius is a giant in terms of economic growth and political stability. Its population is educated, hard working and governed democratically with sound economic policies. Mauritius has a free market economy with positive economic growth, almost full employment and a favorable balance of payments position.
