i was interested to know if anyone knows where i can buy or exchange english novels.

i am here (grand baie area) as my husband is working here. my plans for lots of swimming, exploring, going to the gym have been put on hold as i have broken my collarbone.

hence the book interest!

cannot type much cause having to do it with left hand

Hello cp,

I could send you some English language books which I still keep at home as long as you send them back when you finished them.

Usually I always give books that I've read away to the school library of Loreto college but keep i.e. some Donna Leon (phantastic crime literature based in Venice - I'm addicted to them), Alexander McCall Smith (funny crime stories, maybe you already heard about him?) and Evelyn Waugh books here because from time to time I read them again. Let me know, give me your address by personal mail and off they go.

cp, there is a small book exchange facility at Bazaar Bizaar on Route Royal, Pte aux Cannoniers (next to La Tanier restaurant). It's on the left side as you head towards Trou aux Biches.

You can also get a nice coffee and cakes while you browse and have a chat.
