Anick and Stefan Mertes (he was born 1967 in Trier, Germany) are living in the west of the island, Flic en Flac. They have als two kids. Stefan has a screen-printing-company in Beau Bassin and an own t-shirt label Mauritius T-Shirts, where Anick is a partner in it.
